”Earlier last year we were taking the opportunity to improve the levels of insulation in our home. We decided that changing the windows from double glazed to triple glazed would be a great upgrade to make, and so employed a local glazing company to carry out the work. They recommended using C.U.IN rather than triple glazing, only that we initially didn’t know what it was. Our glazing company explained how the technology worked, and that it would be perfectly suited for our home refurbishment project. We learned that the C.U.IN windows were actually able to match, or improve upon the heat loss from triple glazing while only using two panes of glass. Conveniently this meant we were also able to keep the existing window frames in the house because it didn’t need a thicker frame, unlike the triple glazed units – actually saving us money on the overall project.

The new windows have been installed for about 6 months now and we really noticed a difference over the winter. We felt warmer near the large bay windows in the living room and generally had our thermostat turned down lower than we would previously. Overall I would definitely say that this is something we would recommend to other families thinking of upgrading to triple glazing.
