Challenge: Large triple-glazed sliding doors were specified on this project. However, they also included a requirement to be operable by all. This meant that there were significant challenges with operating the heavy triple-glazed units.

Solution: CUIN insulating glass with suspended film technology by Crystal Units achieves centre pane U-values as low as 0.4 W/m²K in double glazed units. CUIN negates the need for triple glazing, eliminating the weight constraints to the frame system and the end user that triple glazing brings.
